الوصف

This 3D data of a Japanese castle was created using the 2020 photogrammetric method and is the first high-quality 3D architectural scan of a Voyager658. Images were captured from all directions and data was processed.

Azuchi Castle was a Japanese castle located in Shimotoyoura, Azuchi-cho, Omihachiman, Shiga Prefecture, on the eastern shore of Lake Biwa. The ruins of the castle are designated as a special national historic site.

Azuchi Castle was built by Oda Nobunaga on what is now Mt. In 1582, the castle was burnt down for some reason and abandoned. Today, only stone walls and other structures remain, but records left by missionaries who actually visited Azuchi Castle at that time provide a glimpse of what it was like before it was destroyed by fire.
