HBAO+ is a native C++ implementation of NVIDIA's Horizon-Based Ambient Occlusion Plus for Unreal Engine 5. It provides a substantial upgrade in visual quality over the engine's default SSAO, delivering sharper contact shadows, cleaner occlusion, and significantly fewer artifacts across all scene types.
