설명

A historically researched medieval crown, reconstructed from the French royal coronation crown.

Historical background This crown is based on the coronation crown of France, created by King Philippe Auguste in the 13th century. The red tiara was added later by King Jean II to express the religious authority of the king. The original crown was melted down by the Catholic League in 1590 and replaced by the queen's crown, very similar but without the tiara; that one was destroyed during the French Revolution. The reconstruction is based mainly on the work of H. Pinoteau.

Made with archaeological rigor Created by a 3D artist with a master's degree in archaeology, and built from documented historical sources and real-world reconstructions.
