GateWay Systems – Ultimate Portal Framework

GateWay Systems is a powerful, modular, and highly intuitive blueprint-based portal framework for Unreal Engine, offering a unique and flexible teleportation system suitable for a wide range of gameplay scenarios.

This system includes three distinct portal types, each designed to serve a specific use-case, from room-to-room navigation to seamless map transitions with actor persistence.

🌀 Included Portal Types:

🔹 Portal Pair System

  • Shoot two surfaces to create two connected portals (Blue & Yellow).

  • Instantly teleport players and carried/dropped actors between them.

  • Works across dynamic and static environments.

🔹 Wall Phase Portal

  • Shoot one surface to create a one-way wall phase portal.

  • Walk or throw actors through walls seamlessly.

  • Ideal for puzzle and exploration-based mechanics.

🔹 World Gate System

  • A permanent portal that opens a UI map selector.

  • Choose any map to travel to and take your carried actors with you.

  • Persistent actors are removed from the previous map and stored in the new one.

🎮 Gameplay Use-Case Example (Included in Demo):

  • Travel across 3 maps to collect specific actors using the portal types.

  • Deliver them to a special “incinerator” to unlock a secret area.

  • Complete the challenge to receive a golden reward.

  • A success widget will display once the goal is reached.

🧪 Demo Version Notice:

A fully playable demo version is available (packaged for Windows) so you can experience the system before purchasing. All features are active, but the source code and editable assets are only available in the full version.

Note:This system uses the Niagara Fluids Plugin (Beta) for visual effects in the World Portal. Ensure the plugin is enabled in your project. Since it’s in beta, behavior may vary depending on engine updates
