Media 1 for listing MetaSound Transistor: Procedural Sound Effects Design System by Shape Noise

Description

Transistor is a sound design toolset driven in runtime powered by MetaSounds to synthesize and control interactive audio.

No coding or audio expertise is needed to get started! It's as simple as dragging the BP_Transistor blueprint into your Scene and setting a few Detail panel Options.

Displaying the UI makes designing, saving, loading, and recording sounds easy and fun! Once you've created your sounds, Hide the UI and trigger sounds throughout your project by calling premade Functions on the BP_Transistor Class.

Recorder lets you easily play around with settings while recording a ".wav" audio file into your project's Save directory.

The system is designed in Blueprints using Data Assets to Save and Recall Preset configurations of MetaSound in runtime. The project includes example sounds and maps to help you get started.

The system is built on Blueprints and MetaSounds. It’s well-labeled, ready to be tweaked, and customized to fit your needs.

A basic working knowledge of Unreal Engine Editor is recommended for extending Transistor audio player functionality. Examples of Stand-Alone MetaSound files are included, with documentation on how to copy Presets into MetaSound files through Arrays.
