This course will begin by showing how to set up a gym map for prototyping in the Third Person template and explore different methods of utilizing level geometry in a level blockout. Planning and starting a level design in the initial blockout phase will be shown using a combination of assets. By building a 3rd person action level with multiple areas, at the end of this course the student will have gained the ability to quickly blockout playable spaces that are ready for the addition of gameplay and playtesting.
