The Zbike Component is a highly optimized, 100% Blueprint-exposed arcade motorcycle system. Built from the ground up using custom Raycast/Hover physics (Hooke's Law), this component completely replaces native vehicle physics to give you tight, responsive, arcade-perfect handling right out of the box.
Whether you are building an open-world action game, a high-speed racer, or a stylized indie title, Zbike allows you to drop a single component onto your Actor, map your inputs, and drive.
🏍️ Core Features:
100% Multiplayer Replicated (Server-Authoritative): Making a custom physics vehicle work over a network requires a strict division of labor because, in multiplayer, the Server is the absolute boss. The server handles the physics calculations to ensure your game remains completely secure from cheaters. Clients securely ask the server to apply throttle and steering using Server RPCs, while smoothly predicting their own visuals locally.
Custom Raycast Suspension: Uses extremely performant Sphere Traces and Critical Damping math to glide smoothly over uneven terrain, ramps, and polygon seams without violent bouncing or teleporting.
GTA-Style Arcade Drifting: A dedicated drift mechanic that seamlessly lowers lateral tire grip and increases steering torque, allowing players to snap-oversteer and slide through corners with perfect control.
BGMI-Style Mid-Air Tricks: Hit a ramp and take control! Features dedicated mid-air Pitch (Frontflip/Backflip) and Roll (Side-tilt) controls.
Auto-Stabilizing Gyroscope: The exact millisecond the player lets go of the flip controls in mid-air, a mathematical gyroscope automatically snaps the bike level to stick the landing.
Dynamic Visual Leaning: Automatically calculates speed and steering to lean the chassis into corners. The pivot point is automatically calculated from the ground up, so the bike leans on its tires—not from the center of mass.
Mesh Agnostic Architecture: Designed to work perfectly with a single Skeletal Mesh (using Animation Blueprints to spin bone-wheels) or a modular setup of separate Static Meshes.
Zero-Jitter "Idle Sleep": Built-in global anti-gravity and physics-damping logic ensures the bike stays planted like a rock when parked, completely eliminating the "idle micro-bounce" that plagues custom vehicles.
Gimbal-Lock Free Rotation: Custom math entirely prevents visual wheel stuttering at high speeds and sharp turns.
Reverse-Logic Steering: Automatically inverts the visual handlebar steering and lean angles when driving in reverse for a natural, polished feel.
