Descrição
Design open worlds by how they feel to traverse—not just by how large they are in Unreal units.

World Scale Planner is an editor-only landscape planning tool that turns world size into practical gameplay information. Instead of judging scale solely by centimeters or kilometers, you can evaluate how long traversal takes, how terrain affects a route, what players can see, and how landmarks are distributed.
Generate an interactive top-down map from any loaded Unreal Landscape, then place points A and B or build a multi-waypoint journey. World Scale Planner reports distance, accumulated ascent, maximum sampled slope, and estimated travel times for configurable walking, running, sprinting, and mounted movement speed profiles.
Switch between dedicated planning views for terrain, slope, travel time, terrain visibility, fade distances, and landmark density. Tag actors as persistent landmarks, assign designations and names, and compare point-of-interest spacing directly against the landscape.
World Scale Planner includes:
Interactive top-down landscape visualization
Direct A-to-B and multi-waypoint route planning
NavMesh routing when a complete path is available
Terrain-sampled route fallback when NavMesh routing is unavailable
Configurable walk, run, sprint, and mounted travel estimates
Elevation gain and maximum sampled-slope reporting
Travel time heatmap
Terrain-visibility analysis from point A
Configurable object fade-distance rings
Landmark tagging
Landmark-density visualization
Adjustable planning grid, resolution, and overlays
Built-in settings and landmark-management panels
The plugin does not modify your landscape or add runtime overhead to packaged games. It is designed for open-world planning, level-design iteration, traversal balancing, settlement placement, exploration pacing, and making large environments feel believable without making them unnecessarily tedious to cross. Open World Scale Planner from the Unreal Editor menu by selecting Tools > World Scale Planner.
