The purpose of using ragdoll for showcasing is to demonstrate that the movement history of a character is accurately stored and can be displayed again. In general:
Regardless of the skeleton you use
Regardless of the kind of animation blueprint you use
Regardless of the complexity of your animation engineering
Regardless of the inputs the player uses or the sets of actions your AI takes
Or regardless of using physics simulation and ragdoll
This system keeps track of the movement of the character.
