LocoTweaker

LocoTweaker is a powerful, artist-friendly Control Rig solution designed to transform standard animations into unique locomotion styles with ease.
By using a single node within your Animation Blueprint, you can completely overhaul a character's posture, gait, and personality allowing you to turn a basic male animation set into feminine, creature, or stylized movement in seconds.

Core Capabilities

  • One-Node Transformation: Achieve complex character styling without needing multiple animation sets or complicated blending.

  • Procedural Posture: Adjust torso height and use the SpineCurveOffset to hunch or arch the character’s back for varied silhouettes.

  • Dynamic Hip & Leg Control: Add extra weight and flair with side-to-side hip movement and tilting, while easily adjusting knee width and foot angles.

  • Adaptive Hand Poses: Features the ProceduralHandOn system, which automatically swaps hand poses (Walk, Run, Sprint) based on character speed.

  • Deep Customization: Access the internal graph to plug in custom finger poses (like claws) and swap preview meshes for real-time feedback.

[!IMPORTANT] LocoTweaker is specifically optimized for UnrealEngine standard skeletons. Currently, it supports:

But!! If you have some knowledge of Control Rig or Blueprints, you can easily adapt this tool to work with your own custom skeletons.
