The Coral Tree Asset Pack is a modular set of colorful fantasy trees, inspired by the vibrant coral reefs. With "eyes" growing on the tree trunks, these trees have a surreal, otherwordly feeling to them. This project supports nanite and lumen.

• 2 8x8 solid black & white textures for masking.

• 31  material instances (5 different color schemes, 6 material instances per color and 1 material instance for the roots).

Meshes & blueprints 

The tree components are split into four different parts:

• Tree bases (trunks)

• Tree roots

• Tree tops

• Tree branches (grows on the tops)

These components can be used to build a variety of Coral Trees. All static meshes have 4 LOD:s and are game-ready. A set of 12 pre-built trees are included as blueprints for your convenience. They range in sizes going from small, to medium and big.

All meshes are nanite-enabled.

Materials

The tree components use one master material (tree trunk meshes have an extra material slot for the eye material). This master material utilize sub-surface scattering to simulate the translucent appearance of a coral reef cluster. You may switch it off in the material instances if you like. 

Included are two different eye materials. One plain material with fresnel edge glow, and one more advanced material with clouds & stars floating inside, as well as fresnel effects for inner glow & edge glow. Both are easily customized through their material instances, where you can swap textures.  

For customization options, all materials have hue-shifting capability. The top branches can be hue-switched in two areas simultaneously; their bases and their tips. This can be used to create interesting color combinations. The pack ships with 5 pre-configured color schemes.
