File multimediali per l'articolo Portal & Summon VFX Vol. 1 - 32 Looping Sprite Sheets: 1

Descrizione

32 looping portals, magic circles and summoning rings. Arcane circle, summon rune, void portal, teleport swirl, arcane glyph, hell gate, fae ring and resurrection pillar, with several separate animated variations of each. These hold open while a spell channels or a door stays open, so every one is a cycle rather than a single burst.

These are 2D sprite animations. Every effect is a flipbook of drawn frames, not a 3D particle system and not a VFX Graph asset. You play them on a sprite, a quad or a UI image, which is why they behave the same in any engine and need no per-engine setup.

How this pack is organised: the pack is one theme. The theme holds 8 effects, and each effect comes as 4 separate animated variations of itself, so the same effect does not play identical frames every time it fires. 32 animations in total.

Every variation ships in four formats, ready for whatever your engine prefers:

frames/001-024.png - numbered RGBA sequence, 512x512

sheet.png - one 5x5 spritesheet, 2560x2560, RGBA

anim.png - lossless animated PNG with alpha, for web and UI

preview.gif - small looping preview for quick browsing

The eight effects:

Magic Circle - concentric cyan rings with glyphs, counter-rotating

Summon Rune - amber sigil lighting up stroke by stroke

Void Portal - violet vortex oval with curling tendrils

Teleport Swirl - rising cyan spiral winding around a column

Arcane Glyph - single violet symbol turning inside a ring

Hell Gate - molten rune circle with flame licking up from it

Fae Ring - drifting mint-green orbs circling with wisp trails

Resurrection Pillar - golden column of light with motes lifting through

The Unity download is a real .unitypackage exported from the editor, so the textures arrive as Sprites with alpha kept, no compression, and each 5x5 sheet already sliced into its 24 frames. UNITY_README.txt walks through turning a frame sequence into a playing clip, and which additive material to use. The zip of PNG frames is there too, for every other engine.

It also carries a demo scene. Open Demo/PortalSummonVFXVol1 Demo.unity and every effect in the pack is laid out on a ground plane, playing at 24 fps with its name beside it, each one already wired up with a SpriteRenderer, an Animator and an additive material to copy straight into your own scene.

These are additive effects: authored on black, with alpha derived from their own brightness. In Unreal use a Translucent material with Blend Mode Additive plugged into Emissive; in Unity a Particles/Standard Unlit material in Additive mode. Normal alpha blending also works and reads slightly flatter. Every animation is 24 frames at 24 fps, 512x512, and ships as a numbered PNG sequence, a 5x5 spritesheet, and an animated PNG.

Authored at 24 fps and built to repeat with no hold and no ping-pong. Magic circle, summon rune and hell gate are drawn as if seen flat from above, so they lie on the ground in a top-down or isometric scene; the other five stand upright and face the camera.

Every animation was measured for motion, loop closure and edge artefacts, then reviewed by eye; nothing here is a raw generator dump, and takes that did not hold up were cut rather than padding the count.
