The Blood-Thirsty Greatsword is a high-detail stylized fantasy weapon designed as a hero asset for cinematics, portfolio projects, high-quality renders, and fantasy game environments.

Inspired by the concept of a living cursed weapon, the sword features a monstrous blade that appears to feed on its victims. Vein-like patterns spread across the blade, converging toward a glowing central orb that stores harvested blood energy. The weapon was designed with the lore that, after absorbing enough energy from fallen enemies, it can unleash a devastating ranged blast from its maw.

Every part of the asset—from the concept sketch to the final textures—was created in Blender.

Important Information

The Blender file contains the original material setup used to create the showcased renders.

Since Blender shader node networks cannot be transferred through FBX, materials will need to be recreated inside Unreal Engine, Unity, or other software using the included texture maps. A documentation PDF is included to explain the original shader setup and provide suggestions for recreating the intended appearance.
