A Casaba Howitzer is a kind of thermonuclear lance… Capable of defending a large area with a pin point focused beam of nuclear fire. The jet velocity can approach hundreds of km/s and vaporize most ship hulls. Overall a great choice for defending an orbit or any outer outpost.

I got the idea to make one after reading up on some Hard-SciFi weapon concepts. Was fun figuring out how it could be realistically designed and operate in space for an extended period of time… Hence the RTG’s and reaction control thrusters for minor station keeping and if needed fast target tracking.
