Medium 1 für Eintrag Fokker Dr.I | Red Baron's Triplane

Beschreibung

The infamous Red Baron is ready to land in your 3D scene. This is Manfred von Richthofen's red Fokker Dr.I triplane, the most famous fighter of World War I.

Historical background Reconstructed from period blueprints, wartime photographs and surviving restored aircraft. Created by a 3D artist with a background in historical research. Note: while the general aspect of the plane is faithful to reality, the exact accuracy of some parts (cockpit, etc.) is not guaranteed at 100%.

Made with archaeological rigor Created by a 3D artist with a master's degree in archaeology, and built from documented historical sources and real-world reconstructions.

What's inside

  • The base fuselage as one mesh

  • 8 rigged moving parts (flaps, propeller…) and their rigged control cables

  • the cockpit as one mesh so it can be removed if it is useless in your renders (cockpit parts like the control yoke are not rigged)

  • 4k / 2k / 1k textures, normal maps in DirectX and OpenGL, optional height maps

  • Rigged and animated in Blender (native rig). The animation is also included as an Alembic (.abc) cache in the additional files, for playback in any software supporting Alembic. The interactive rig itself is Blender-only.

A note on accuracy The model is faithful to its historical sources; the exactness of every single detail is not guaranteed.
