[Estimated specifications]
Displacement | 7,000–8,000 ton
- significantly upscaled from the initial 5,000-ton concept to the level of the U.S. Virginia-class attack submarine (7,800 tons) in order to counter North Korea's large submarine threats
Propulsion System | Nuclear propulsion (nuclear-powered submarine)
Power Source / Fuel | Indigenously developed domestic reactor / low-enriched uranium under 20% enrichment
- complying with the international nuclear non-proliferation regime
Onboard Armament | Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missiles, Cruise Missiles, Torpedoes, Naval Mines
Operational Capability | Capable of high-speed maneuvers and near-infinite underwater submerged endurance without refueling
- a core asset of the underwater Kill Chain

The model completed this time is South Korea's nuclear-powered submarine project, 'Jangbogo-N', which was newly unveiled at the end of this May. The overall exterior was built based on the mockup released at the end of May. For the submarine's mast, I heavily referenced the mockup photos of 'Jangbogo-IV' featured in the 'Military Review' magazine.
This project is virtually the first of my 3D models to have normal textures properly applied. You can clearly see the details if you look closely!
The price is $65. The package includes blend, stl, mtl, fbx, obj, ply files, and various textures.
