Actor Presets allows for creating simple, data-driven, lightweight, & scriptable actor presets that can be dragged & dropped directly into your world like any actor, but without needing to create new, heavy child blueprints that require full recompilation.
In addition, the Actor Preset component gives you the option to automatically update changes to any actor using that preset, and randomize parameters from a seed.
