Interpretation of the Relief Scenes
This stone table retains two main visible relief surfaces:
1. Right Side Facade
The center features a seated figure extending his hand to a standing woman (handshake gesture dextrarum iunctio, a classic Greek symbol for farewell, reunion, or sacred oath);两侧 are accompanied by child attendants. This is a classic Greek funeral relief composition, depicting the final farewell scene between the deceased and the living.
2. Left Side Facade
A group of standing worshippers, one of whom is sitting on a chair, with others holding offerings (shallow plates, sacrifices), presenting a ritual scene of offering and presenting offerings to the hero / deceased.
