Description
Similar Asset Packs:
DMXtransform is a system of blueprints that enables changing the transform parameters (location, rotation, and scale) of an actor from any DMX lighting console. That way, a lighting designer or lighting programmer can store lighting looks and related object transform changes, for example truss height or rotation, into the same cue. In some cases, it could be more convenient than programming these changes in a sequencer. If necessary, the DMX stream can be recorded by Take Racorder and used in a Sequencer later.
To use it, you need to insert the blueprint into the scene, patch it to the DMX system, and connect it with the actor you wish to control. Alternatively, you can attach the actor to the blueprint, which makes it possible to control multiple actors at once. More information can be found in the DMXtransform Video.
GDTF files are provided for all the blueprints, with 8-bit and 16-bit modes for all the parameters. If you are using a GDTF-enabled console, such as grandMA 3 or Magic Q, you can use these files for easy patching.
XML personality files are provided for the grandMA 2 and dot 2 consoles.
