This 3D model reconstructs the Fortifications of the City of Mahdia during the Fatimid Dynasty. Oubeid Allah al-Mahdi, founder of the Fatimid dynasty, took great care in fortifying his new capital, Mahdia, to ensure its security amid the hostile environment surrounding his newly established Shiite Caliphate.
